Description

and first went into line

After initial training at Camp White in southern Oregon

it created a stable platform that was necessary to bomb targets accurately from high altitude

Having sustainable ammunition made the repeating rifle a much more practical weapon out on the frontier where the nearest hardware or sporting good store was hundreds of miles away

but we do not know what the meaning is

Original Austrian WWI Mannlicher M1895 Rifle Bayonet made in Hungary with Sight on Muzzle Ring & Scabbard Military Maps and first went into lineOriginal Item: Only One Available. This is a very nice Austrian made NCO bayonet for the Mannlicher Model 1895 straight pull bolt action Rifle, which was the principal Rifle of the FIRST WORLD WAR for the Austrian Empire. The M1895 bayonet was the first knife bayonet to feature an inverted blade profile, where cutting edge faces upward when fixed. This particular example is interesting in that it has a front sight fitted on top of the bayonet
